The Researchers of the Dental School of the University of Siena on top of the Expertscape Ranking for scientific publications in international dental journals: this achievement was certified by the American web site that provides a ranking system for all the biomedical areas, evaluating not only Institutions, but also Researchers. In this ranking, that takes into account only the publications in the journal that is worldwide considered as the most prestigious in Dentistry, the Journal of Dental Research, the University of Siena was among the first two hundred listed Institutions.

Prof. Marco Ferrari from the Dental School of the University of Siena had the first rank in Post and Core Technique, the fifth rank in Dental Prosthesis Retention, the sixth rank in Prosthodontic Tooth Preparation, the seventh rank in Dental Prosthesis Design, the ninth rank in Dental Bonding, the eleventh rank in Dental Prosthesis, and the twelfth rank in Prosthodontic. In the same ranking also Prof. Cecilia Goracci stood out, with the third and the ninth score in Post and Core Technique and in Crowns respectively, as well as the twelfth score in Prosthodontic Tooth Preparation, along with Prof. Jelena Juloski, who had the fifth rank in the same category. Of particular relevance also the ranking of Prof. Daniele Manfredini, who had the top rank in Bruxism and Temporomandibular disorders.

Additionally, Prof. Marco Ferrari achieved the fourteenth rank in the Dentistry category based on the evaluation of almost 100.000 articles published since 2008.
